It comes with the stand (NB the stand is pretty battered but you can't see that when the jasper is on it). To me this piece of Jasper feels really lovely, grounding and soothing I've had it sitting on my lap for half an hour (and I keep stroking like its a cat!) it definitely feels like it wants to be used for
